22 months after it began, my sister walked out of the Clara Foltz Courthouse, free. Railroading derailed. The bad guys foiled in spectacular ways. Free at last, and all the Jazz.
Freed by very rare rulings on two charges (acquitted by judge before it got to the jury) - and the only surviving charge- dismissed in the interests of justice by the same judge - Randolph J. Moore.
Almost unheard of dispositions. David Vs. Goliath according to Alissa Maltzman, the public defender who took the case to trial after two public defenders, and then two private attorneys ran off when facing fears of their careers being comprised, if they were even one bit zealous in my defense. You'll meet all of them, later.
Free at last. Free at last, but with reputations ruined. Privacy invaded. Peace of mind decimated. PSTD for all. Money and years stolen. Faith lost. Too much Latin legalese learned.
It started with Service of an exparte Temporary Restraining order on May 7th 2008. Served on my sister by Detective John Gregozek, after it was already granted by a Judge, without any notice or hearing.
Restraining orders:
Words that brought to mind crazed obsessives in Lifetime movies, and on the ID channel. Wild eyed nuts, rejected by real lovers or imaginary lovers, needing a judge to sign a piece of paper, cause they could not grasp the concept of, "Go away!"
(In short, people who share nothing in common with my sister.)
Here and there, though, you'd hear of something sexier getting served- something involving a celebrity stalker. Some sad soul: sitting in a basement. Walls pasted with pictures of their fantasy. Mouth open to breathe. Eyes shut to dream. Then, eyes snap open to reveal a peculiar mix of menace and never to be requited desire. Scary stuff.
I've since learned that this particularly pathetic form of pathos is rarer than you'd think. Talking about restraining orders and stalking has become a big joke,but actually, it's not a pervasive problem for law enforcement. Most people do taken the hint.
Yet, despite the dearth of actual stalking cases, Los Angeles, has created a whole unit devoted to protecting the famous from what is a very particular pathology.
Members of this specially trained unit accompany the scared celebrities to every court date, and advise them how to stay safe till the stalker is safely locked away. They counsel the celebrity's friends and family on how to keep an eye out for the perpetrator, and what measures to take if this deranged individual gets too close.
They have a famous psychiatrist on staff (Kris Mohondie) and they have mental health units (SMART) at the ready. They take classes on the particularities of stalkers and stalking crimes.They prepare affidavits and evidence, and work with the celebrity's entertainment lawyers to assure that the judge grants their requests.

Members of this unit attend seminars, give speeches, and write books. They hold conventions at Disneyland, and all over the world. They even had a whole Prime-time TV series devoted to their specialty. (Named, "Stalker." Thankfully. cancelled early on.)
The Detectives in this so called, "Elite Unit" go to fancy homes to meet with their famous "Vics" (Victims) and they live in much nicer homes than the poor sods who taser South Centralites for a living. They even have their own acronym-The TMU.

And, on a sunny day in May of 2008, two members of the TMU, knocked on our door, and introduced themselves only as,"LAPD."
We'll get back to that Knock. The Knock that led to service of a Restraining order.The sham restraining order led to a sham hearing, which led to the appeal of that order. Then when a defamation suit was filed by my sister, after she discovered a widespread smear campaign by Notaro...
That led Notaro to once again call on Nick Kroll, who again got Lavely and Singer, and those people got Gregozek to push for a criminal charges so my sister would be forced to abandon her civil claims. In other words, this whole case rested on string pulling, and well placed phone calls. There was never any ruling or order that resulted from the facts.
So to stop the civil suit, they charged my sister with a one count misdemeanor - charged and then pursued, as if it was a triple homicide- (seven search warrants overall. Six of those " special circumstance" Warrants reserved for pedophiles, and terrorists. 31 days of illegal jailing,12 days trial, costly competency scheme.)
When one charge didn't get my sister to accept their plea offer of "informal diversion" by March of 2009, they added more, even though there was no any evidence of a crime, even after extensive searches with warrants( based on perjured affidavits by John Gregozek, and then perjured affidavits by James Hoffman.)
Marty Singer's second hand woman, Allison Hart,ordered those two charges actually. We only got to see these documents three years later, when we sued the for malicious prosecution and civil rights abuses.
FYI: none of what she would allege in these e-mails,was true, and that would be borne out, 2 years down the line, at trial. There was no Facebook posts made by my sister to Notaro, and she never removed any facebook account etc. Over time, we learned that Kelly Boyer refused to add such charges, with no evidence, and so they had to find the notoriously unethical city attorneys, Jennifer Waxler and Felise Kalpakian,to agree to add charges where only exculpatory evidence existed.
The attempts to add those charges,the failure to add them by Kelly Boyer, and then how they chose to add them anyway, with no underlying crime, and how it would then withstand a judge's scrutiny, is a book in itself
The fact that my sister would say "The charges don't make sense" to Jennifer Waxler(and her helper- Felice "Backfat" Kalpakian) would lead to a Stalinesque competency scheme where they would tell a Judge Samantha Jessner that my sister is crazy because she said, "the charges don't make any sense."

and then what was a conspiracy within a conspiracy - to make sure my sister couldn't go to trial.

Alisa Spitzberg 8CA10541 ______________________________________________________________________________ Ms. Spitzberg is an out-of-custody pro per defendant whom we’ve been appointed to represent for Doubt Proceedings only. In my opinion, she is competent. I was not present on 08/12/09 when Judge Jessner declared a doubt in Dept. 40 but from what Ms. Spitzberg and from what public defenders who were present tell me, Judge Jessner did so upon the urging of City Attorney prosecutors at an ex parte bench conference and without articulating reasons for doing so. Ms. Spitzberg did go to Dept 95 on 09/03/09, but since Judge Jessner forgot to appoint counsel, she was sent back to Dept. 40 on 09/08/09. In my presence, Ms. Spitzberg appeared on her own behalf and a further pretrial was set for 10/02/09. On 10/02/09 the parties were sent out to Dept. 51 (Judge Vanderet) for both prosecution and defense motions. I attended the motions because Ms. Spitzberg informed me that the prosecution had filed a “Motion to Appoint Counsel and Set a 1368 Hearing.” I watched Ms. Spitzberg argue that the prosecution had no standing in the matter and that no doubt had ever been declared by Judge Jessner. I think she argued this competently and intelligently. Pursuant to PC 1368, Judge Vanderet appointed the Public Defender’s office as counsel and admitted that Judge Jessner had neglected to do that. I argued that under PC 1368, once counsel is appointed for a pro per defendant, the appointed counsel should take reasonable time to decide whether, in their opinion, the defendant is competent. I put on the record that it was my belief after speaking with Ms. Spitzberg and watching her in court on more than one occasion that she is competent. Judge Vanderet sent her back to Dept. 95 despite my arguments. I have never seen the complaint or arrest reports associated with Ms. Spitzberg’s case. They were not given to me, so I’m sorry but I cannot attach them. Thanks!
The get my sister declared crazy so, she can't sue them for malicious prosecution, or expose how they had prosecuted this case part - led to an eighteen men raid - replete with battering ram, bullet proof vests and black cone shaped hats. A raid where the whole TMU showed up.

The 18 man raid, led me and mother to be illegally detained in a hall, as my sister was carted off to jail with no charges, and no legal basis for any raid, arrest or search. And, so we were sure she'd be let out the next day when our lawyer came to court.
Instead, she would be jailed for 31 days,with a bail set for serial killers - meaning no bail.
During her stay (AKA coercive confinement) in Lynwood Correctional Facility, all attempts were made by the prosecution - to close the deal.
The deal - if my sister, keeps refusing to plea, get my sister locked up in Patton on October 14th 2009.
Note: No charges of any kind were every filed by Kelly Boyer and no charges were ever filed by any prosecutor related to these new Lavely and Singer submitted allegations.

For November 4th 2009 to December 1st 2009, we faced the specter of Patton. We'd pictured Patton as a place where my Mcmurphyish sister played cards with Andrea Yates,John Hinckley Junior, a couple of school shooters and a Cannibal.

But, they were foiled, by a few twists of fate and a fairy godmother in the form of a forensic psychiatrist - Dr. Suzanne Dupee.
After submitting this
Dr. Dupee,sat with her arms crossed, and glared at Judge Maria Stratton.
The presence and demeanor of this legit forensic psychiatrist, who looked angry at what she was witnessing, made Judge Maria Stratton AKA the devil, actually pout, as she crossed out a page on her desk.
Later we found out what she crossed out.
which forced them to abandon this newest device, which led them to return the case to the criminal court. A new definition of relief.
Back to the Criminal court and lots and lots more led tos - that led to a 12 day kangaroo trial.
An actual Judge. An Actual Jury. 4 days of Voire Dire( more Latin learned.)
Inside and out of court,a literal phalanx of prosecutors on I phones, strategizing zealously to win -- the misdemeanor of the century.
Then, a twelve day trial.A trial that started and stopped, and started and stopped,as they tried to add more charges, but were stopped by the trial judge, Randolph Moore.
A trial with a scene like this: another prosecutor, Felise Kalpakian, coming into court, to get the judge thrown off for saying stuff like " I don't think this is a criminal matter. This belongs in the Civil Courts. and then him angrily telling Felise, "Backfat" Kalpakian to get the hell out.
This astute observation that this was all retaliation for the defamation suit - led Judge Randolph Moore to take the very rare measure, of taking it upon himself to acquit two charges and to dismiss the last surviving charge - in the interests of justice.

Let's lead us to the present - November 2015
And to me - having to write something that sounds this insane. But,since I am not insane, I know how insane it sounds.
Let's pause here. Did cops and prosecutors think your sister did something? Did she?
Doctors and judges and prosecutors said your sister is insane. Is she?
My answers and anyone with any sense's answers: They could't have thought she did anything, soon in. Notaro and her "witnesses" lies were too obvious and too obviously malicious.
And, no,she never committed any crime. She was the victim of many many un- prosecuted crimes. As for sanity, she's the sanest person,I've ever met.
From start to finish this was a set up that was orchestrated using Nick Kroll's money and connections. And we can prove it.
No, it's too insane, you might still say. But, you are the sister? The two of you think this happened? I have never seen such an elaborate case of double delusion. Shouldn't somebody be studying these sisters brains?
The judge had dismissed the surviving charge, fter Alissa Malzman Sterling had talked of her concern about all the power and money and effort involved. The judge then had expressed the same concerns, before telling the prosecutor that he would not let this continue, under his watch, so Alissa Malzman and Judge Moore would have to be cuckoo too.
All that money. all that effort. All that power used against my little sister.

Drumroll. Spotlight. Reveal.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's.... Tig Notaro.
Huh. Who? Tig Notaro. Uh. Tig Notaro who?
Tig Notaro is who!
Tig Notaro is who.
Tig Notaro AKA Mathilde Notaro. A stand up comedian. Maybe you've heard of her now,but nobody knew of her then. Including us.
Why might that name now sound familiar to more?
Cause she had cancer, see. Went on a stage,see. Announced on a stage that the cancer was advanced, see. Noted (un-originally) that Time and Tragedy equals comedy, and she didn't have time, see?
Lots of press. A blogger (who also blogged a lot about Nick Kroll and the Kroll Show) claimed to be present at this "historic moment in comedy,"and then this blogger, Kira Hesser, apparently became the person who broke this "epic" story by submitting it to some PR person.
Then, Louis CK peddling an audio of the set. NPR acting as if an obscure comedian telling an audience she had cancer was the story of the century. A massive(and highly suspicious) press push to make Miss Notaro... "Happen."
Considering the state of her health four years later, and then the state of her cancer stories, she had plenty of time and no tragedy.
Two years after the criminal trial ended, we'd learned of her cancer," and saw it as long overdue comeuppance. We looked forward to following her journey to decay and death.
Alas, before we could pop one kernel of popcorn,we'd learn that she was beating Cancer with a whole new series of highly inconsistent statements.
Just a few inconsistent Cancer statements:
Things like telling certain press outlets she was on chemo.Then telling others that she was only on "natural treatments." Then she'd tell an English Journalist that she was too sick from radiation and therefore had been incapable of getting on stage. A month later she was beating cancer with hormone blockers. A month later she'd said that she'd been on those since the start. A month later she'd told another press person that she had to start those up in a few months.
Then she forget all that and went back to how all along it's just been raw foods etc. Then, upon further inspection it was learned that every aspect of her cancer and recovery story either changed or didn't add up.
The narrative was this: A brave but obscure comedian, takes to the stage to share her personal pain and emerges as a comedy star who makes lots of lemonade out of a small bag of lemons. Aside of a short stay, in a hospital, since diagnosis, it's all been only uphill.
She'd even told a Peter Holmes(on his podcast, "Make it Weird.) that she loved having cancer.
So,in short, Cancer was not ...Cancer, but the best thing ever. Highly recommenced by Ms. Notaro.
Then,she lost the plot further, and began doing topless sets to prove that she had mastectomy scars. We don't believe a word, and you will soon see why.
But I digress, one true conspiracy at a time.
Let's segue back to the beginning -The nitty gritty behind the allegations that that led to all those led tos.
Part two: Back to the Knock
There's nothing tentative about a cop's knock. No knuckle wraps. Just a closed fist punching sideways. Two very tall men in good suits, stood in the doorway.They introduced themselves as "L.A.P.D responding to a "crime report."
It's important to note that though seeing cops at your door is rarely an occasion to bring out the Champagne,we were happy to see them. Nearly Champagne happy.
We had tried to talk sense to this Tig. To give her a chance to explain herself, and ideally - to say sorry. We hoped maybe it was a mistaken identity situation.: Of course you never hit me. You never bothered me, in any way. I had no right to have you kicked out of Largo under such false and destructive pretenses. This wasn't a McDonald's. This was a comedy venue that you'd gone to and planned on performing at. . By me falsely accusing you of violence there, I could effectively ruin any comedy career.
And,yet those efforts to get the deserved response, where met with hostility and abuse by her, and then a bunch of strangers. In real life, and then online.
Now here, in our house, where were two strapping officers of the LAPD.

Once they heard the truth,they'd make it right.
So my sister and I have nothing to hide. We're pleased to see them, and so she begins to tell them what is up., Gregozek ( the guy acting bad cop, I guess) starts shush shush shushing her.
" Shh Shh She. Let me talk."
"Ok"
" Have you been writing on the internet about her?"
"Yeah.But, only after she wouldn't explain herself."
Gregozek gave her a, 'Aha you admitted it look.'
And she gave him a, 'Yeah I admitted it so what look'
"Why have you been writing about her on the internet?"
"Well she's been telling owners of clubs that I go to and need to go to, that I've been hitting her... that I hit her 9 months before and that now I came to a club to be "aggressive with her."And none of that happened. I came to L.A to do comedy. Those kinds of lies can ruin my life."
"Shhh"
"I don't even know her. After I realized that she really was intent on hurting me, I thought if I could just appeal to her humanity.Then my sister gave it a try. I wanted to gain insight into this strange person who for some reason thinks it's ok or fun to tell people I go around beating her up.Would you like if someone went around lying about you? Say you were applying to the police academy, and some recruit is telling the brass, and everyone, that you're a violent nut?"
No response, before Gregozek produced a ream of papers from his bag. Is this the site you've been writing on? He wouldn't show what it was.
But since she only had written on one site, I assumed it was datalounge. ( A gossipy website populated by funny people and what appeared to be a fair share of Hollywood insiders.)
It's tagline - wit, wisdom and random bitchery.
"If that's datalounge... Yeah."
He gave her another aha admission face- as if he was getting a full confession to a serious crime.
She responded wth:" well if you have it right there you know there are no threats. nothing remotely illegal. Read it... other people wrote so much stuff about her. Not just me."
Tig Notaro's life mission was to become a "public figure,"so to our delight some of the Datalounge members knew of her,and gave us some succor. Some knew her personally.A few said she was a creep. Two told us they'd known her, and they strongly suspected she was sociopath. One told us how she was known as a predator- whose preference was straight or straight seeming seeming blondes. Another poster told us that she surrounded herself with out of work comedians, who secretly hated her, but used her for her connections. One poster relayed that Tig Notaro had sent a bloody tampon to her mother on Mother's day.
" The tampon thing..... I don't know of it's true, but I wouldn't past someone whose capable of this."
"We'll look at it later. Second question: " Did you say Sarah Silverman Sucked."
"Did I say Sarah Silverman Sucked? No actually I didn't. I do think she sucks but I didn't say it. I might have said her show sucked..... Wait....why would that matter?
(Was there a new statute on the books that made it illegal to cast aspersions on Sarah Silverman and Tig Notaro?)
So far the crime report was dissing Silverman, and double dissing Notaro.
Which led my sister to get a gut feeling ( based on their questions and their whole demeanor throughout) which led her forget the we ask the questions command.
" I don't think you are real police. Are you real police?"
They chuckled in unison,and then they set what we'd assume were transcripts of the message board aside, with a let's get this over with sigh.
What we weren't up to.
This is where it gets tricky. Because this whole thing is predicated on the fact that there is no smoke to this fire. Surely a puff? Maybe, a swirl? No. All of the smoke was make believe,on their parts. And all the fake smoke was predicated on more fake smoke... In particular - a violent push nine months before.
Over four years(if you count the civil suits to come) Notaro would make 7 separate statements as to these "incidents' and Willen would make 3. And each time they changed their stories in ways that screamed -- these chicks are lying.
So, instead of going into each statement . I'm going to tell you what the cops told us Tig told them. A vague but disturbing account about what they'd been told,we'd been up to.
Then, I'm going to paste a link to all the different versions that Notaro and Willen would tell and how John Gregozek and James Hoffman would use their initial statements as investigated face, throughout. And, then how they would repeat these false accusation as gospel when they'd submit them to prosecutors and judges,before they'd slip them to a jury in the form of perjured search warrant affidavits.
And then, I'm going to tell you that witnesses with nothing to gain, and some with a lot to lose(we now know that one had a lot to lose, and that one might have lost so much it could blow any mind.)
Five witnesses who told law enforcement that it was all made up. Never happened. And they were ready to go on the stand, and get a lot of people - in a lot of trouble.
What Gregozek and Hoffman said we did:
"Incident," one.
Tsunami - August 29th 2007
9 months ago. Not 1,2,3,4 or five months ago - 9 months ago. Notaro and a Stephanie Willen were alleging that my sister pushed Notaro inside this coffee shop. 9 months ago? The gestation period. Long enough to go around the world. She'd seen them and went full nutso, began saying incoherent thing before making a huge scene inside, or following them outside.
Notaro and Willen's metamorphosing/ metastasizing story would survive for four years, in the courts, if you include the civil suits to come.
Three versions had the push outside. One version it was inside. One version had a verbal tirade and "getting in Notaro's face," preceding the push. Five other versions where this was not mentioned. at all. One version had vodka falling out of sister's jacket, even thought that day was very hot and no one would wear a jacket.
One version had the vodka falling out of purse. 6 versions Notaro never mentions vodka, falling or not.
One version Sister calling Notaro a Crazy. Bitch. Dyke. Cunt before the push. 6 versions where that was never mentioned and it was just a push with no words. Version after version after version where the most basic details would change. One version had Willen heroically standing before Notaro to protect her. The next one now it was Notaro heroically shielding Willen. One had Willen going inside to collect her bag. The others were she did no such thing.
Then more where sister was now chasing the ladies as they fled to their car, and all the others versions failing to mention this most memorable spectacle. One version they came in once car to coffee shop. one they came separately in two cars. Which if true - would have complicated that chase. In one version my sister was chasing both them and then the car.
All those versions would be revealed over the two excruciating years, after the knock. Many came long after Notaro and Willen were caught in these lies. The fact that they felt emboldened to repeat long dis-proven allegations is what would cause this case to be so curious.
If you were to believe Notaro and Willen's stories - That summer night in 2007, had been a night of savagery and sonnets. Brawls and booze amidst Haikus,in the aptly named... Tsunami Coffee House. Or, less poetically- a simple time worn narrative: a love triangle of sorts. An enraged ex freaking out that these two were in a coffeehouse together and being driven to verbal abuse and then violence.

Be warned, crossing back through the stage to duck out early will get you a chorus of raised eyebrows and a few remarks like, 'Where are you going?'
So as you can see.... a place where things like violence and tirades would get noticed. For now (May 7th 2008. Cops on Couch,) when it came to Tsumani we only had Notaro and Willen's version as told to them.
Alisa pushed, "Tig" inside a coffee shop, after "confronting" her or them or whomever
Soon into their retelling of what they were told, the light bulb went on.This is not a dark alley accusation.
" Detectives, talk to the people there. There was plenty of them. And the workers. The cashier. The manager. Easy. Surely someone would have noticed something like that. I mean you're Detectives, after all."
But over the coming years, Gregozek and Hoffman would make it clear they wouldn't talk to a sole if it came to clearing our names. My sister had even overestimated James Hoffman and had called to plead with him to talk to Sam(after she'd talked to him) and Hoffman had said, " We are not going to got Silverlake to talk to witnesses for .... THIS.)
So, after the criminal charge, we had to get witnesses and we got this from a manager who was there that night.

NO ACTIVITY OR FIGHT AT ALL
Now, Gregozek and Hoffman had moved to 9 months later: April 7th 2008. Largo on Fairfax.
Gregozek: " Did you get it in her face and be aggressive and she had security throw you out"
My sister: " She had me thrown out for doing nothing. She told them I had to be removed cause 9 months before I'd pushed her. That's how this whole thing started. I went to a show to see the Walsh Brothers... she was hosting... it shouldn't have been any problem."

According to the 7 version that would follow, Alisa not only got in Tig's Face but in five versions she didn't get into her face. In once version sister had used that "Cunt. Dyke. Bitch." line once more. Later she'd put that in the coffeehouse not Largo. In all the others she forgot to come up with that.
In the only consistent part of Notaro's versions when it came to this date, was that she was "confronted" by Alisa while Notaro conversed with her William Morris Agent, Heidi Feigin.
Once again, she puts all "this," in a packed club. What a weird M.O for a liar.
" Talk to the people there. She was talking to the woman there. The bartender. the audience. The people at the bar. The guy who took the entrance fee. If what Notaro says is true, surely someone noticed. I mean ... you're detective's after all."
We turned to each other and said, " Oh, she's gonna get arrested"
Third "incident"
This is where I come in. After she was thrown out of Largo on April 7th 08, I decided that as a big sister I'd clear this up. Surely this Tig person had nothing against me. I wasn't a comedian.
Cops: Did you knock on windows and doors and scream, " I'm going to get that fucking dyke." "Didn't the police have to come/"
In the next two years. one version had us sisters knocking on the door for 1 and and a half hours. One version of Notaro's had the packed club on three hours of lockdown. One version had us sisters running around blocks screaming "we are going to get the fucking dyke." One version and us sisters were trying to break into club but since we couldn't you know... break in... we knocked for more than one and a half hours.
There was only one consistent part in these version: In all versions cops are called and come to scene but alas us sisters have fled.
Considering those allegations of mayhem, that would first be made by Notaro, and then be made by the owner and then the manager, of course police would have to come... three hours of lockdown.
" Detectives, O... M.. G this is getting ridiculous. She has a mental defect. She keeps making stuff up when there's tons of witnesses There was a bouncer at the bar next door. Good looking black guy. Muscular. He was there the whole time were were there. Maybe 20 minutes. He was offended by how they treated us. He talked to us. Invited us in Dime Bar for a drink. He'd be so easy to track down. Wait.. all those people on lockdown. The police. We didn't see them. But they'd be great witnesses to. they must have interviewed people. The people inside. locked down for three hours. Surely, they'd remember two violent lady homophobes keeping them trapped for hours. This is a time of cell phones... hundreds of 911 calls."
Remember those police who were called, came, and according to Notaro's lawyer Allison Sievers saw the sister's though Notaro insisted the sister had left before the the cops arrived?
Did anyone ever get the 911 printouts? Names of the Officers. Badge Numbers? Police reports? Incidence Reports?( To win another defamation suit( I filed) and then to convince an appeals court that Notaro deserved her restraining orders, her lawyer, Allison Sievers had now said that not only had police come but this time, we were there to see them. In the defamation case, the judge cited the poilce's arrival as the reason she would grant Lavely and Singer's "Slapp Motion.")
It's a long strange tale how those documents were finally ordered, but we can't afford for this to be a mystery, so here is what happened when a Martin Boags ordered the records, a year and six months after the alleged incident took place.
It would turn out that John Gregozek(with the blessing of his supervisor Jeffrey Dunn had falsified an incident report since Jaqueline Montalvo and Jannell Badar hadn't produced one because they thought Tig Notaro had lied to them and had a vendetta against me and my sister.
last one, I promise. April 29th 2008-
Gregozek: "You went to the Improv. You pushed people on line. Tried to stop them from seeing her show."
Us: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat."
Them shaking their heads: "cops were called."

As you can see, Gregozek not only would submit Notaro and Willen's false accusations as gospel but he'd go as far as to invent an incident report number. So we can deduce easily that John Gregozek was setting my sister up from day one. Also note no evidence other than their version was present |
One of Notaro's versions, would have her being assisted by a cop on the street before two other cops arrived. This phantom cop who she'd never mentioned to the real police, who did come, when she got a manager to call, had not taken care of us but rather snuck her in the Improv's side door --
A side door that did not exist BTW. The helpful street cop did not exist either FYI. Not one person came forth to complain about being pushed in line or being forced to be stuck in any club, since according to Notaro the Largo club, "was in lockdown for 3 hours."
In one version she finished her act and walked out with "my friend Nick Kroll" and saw me approach the improv without my sister, then I tried to muscle my way into the door. In one version she watched in fear from a window. In one, she didn't but rather performed her comedy routine as this occurred outside. In one version lots of people in line were pushed. In all the otheres she forgot about that. Once time she was given warning of the mayhem by a Leslie Wolff. Once it was a "friend". Once it was a promoter. Once it was a "manager."
After Gregozek and Hoffman finished retelling us,what she'd apparently told them, we almost felt sorry for her. It's a crime to lie to the police, isn't it? Why would she ruin her career... her life... over this bizarre vendetta?
Detectives, we have the best witnesses evah! Two cops. Two female cops. One blonde. One brunette. They talked to us. Then they went and talked to her and who knows who else inside. They came out and said, verbatim... " Ladies no crime has been committed here." After the brunette whispered something in the blonde's ear, the blonde said, " If I were you, I'd get myself a lawyer."
No idea what she meant. Call them on the phone right now. They're one of you.
It would turn out that no police report was made that night. No incident report either... But that didn't stop John Gregozek from putting a false incident number so he could close the deal. The deal being to please Lavely and Singer and Jules Kroll's son. Nick Kroll. Nick Kroll's father scouts for bad cops and the former head of the TMU, Gregory Boles, now has a very lucrative position with Kroll Inc.

(And according to their submission to prosecutors and then judges, those interviews were only made by phone. Not one in person interview existed. Not one signed statement either)

And then they made the motions of being done. Gathering the papers they never showed us. Off the couch. Headed towards the door. And we were sure - this is over... even better... they'd investigate and haul her to jail, for wasting their time, , with what....with some vendetta, and now getting cops to try and stop ... dissing her and Sarah Silverman online and off?
They'd be compelled to tell these comedy club owners about this creep- the kind of creep that likes to slander strangers. The kind of creep that gets off on ruining someone's reputation and career, so she can play false victim., The kind of creep that will use public resources to get revenge..... Revenge for what? This all started because she decided to falsely accuse my sister of violence.
Just as we considered the comeuppance, she could face,Gregozek pulled a sheaf of papers with the heft of a Chinese Menu out of of his bag. handed it to my sister...
but this wasn't your regular process server type of service... Gregozek counseled us, " Just stay off the internet and I'm sure she won't even show up for this."
We flashed back to that blonde female cop ," If I were you I'd get a lawyer," and as increasingly fishy as these guys seemed, we were naive. We trusted them. S
So sister asked, "Do we need a lawyer"
Hoffman (playing good cop) piped in... " Nah... I've worked these cases and I can tell you she won't even show up. "

After they'd left we looked at the half filled in forms and the one page email that was labeled - Affidavit. We didn't get then that a temporary order was granted and that it was a rare one... One where the danger was so strong that due process had to be discarded.. No notice. No hearing. Granted by some judge on a weekend.
The paperwork. The Affidavit. The forms. The temp order
Now we had real names of who she considered witnesses:Heidi Feigin. Nick Kroll. Leslie Wolff. and a lot of nameless cops and managers and doormen and .
The hearing was set for May 28th 2008- 21 days away. more than enough time for any investigation by these cops and we'd call lawyers, just to be sure, cause even thought they said she wouldn't show up... why would they say that....
Worse came to worse we'd track down the as of now nameless people with faces, we knew could back up our denials.
.. We looked through the papers. forms where Notaro was claiming she was stalked and a victim of violence to get away without filing any filing fee. oh that won't last, crazy lady... whatever those cops told us you told them... well you changed your story. and even if the story sounded the same... it made no sense.. the same 9 month sabbatical from stalking only to emerge sitting at a bar.
he cops hadn't mentoined the names of any witnessnes. we knew we had them bu tthey had them how was that possible when none of this happened? Three names of guys we never heard of .... Three roommates who also were now safe from sister and her .... staling of unknown strangers?
Notaro was nutso... now whatever those cops were telling us was in fine print.

Now for the first time, we had names. The names listed were assumed to be what... witnesses... witnesess to what...
The names lister mentioned were Nick Kroll, Heidi Feigin, Brian Whitaker. Lesley Wolf... And here my idealistic sisser got excited.. no way all those names would lie. And if they confirmed any part of Notaro affidavit... they would be lying, cuase none of what she described ever took place..
others thngs of noe... three roommates listed and as of the ex part temp order I'd been restrainined by law from these three guys I'd never met. They had a right to have my siser legally restrained from not just her but roommates.. how did that make any sense..
on op of the forms in handrwriing. Lavely and Singer Allion Hart laywer bu no address. no bar number.
Googled Lavely and Singer, "Boutique Agency" Something to do with entertainment law. We'd jumped to the conclusion that this was a fancy way to say a small law firm. And according to Notaro in her affidavit this firm was busy behind the scenes sending the website where we'd gotten the dirt on Notaro, a stream of cease and desist letters.
Which explained how amazed we and the other members of datalounge were when any thread mentioning was deleted. the every major celebrity this woman most had never heard of was getting any thread mentioning her - shut down.
Let's stop here for me to make things clear without bogging down the story of who was telling the truth...
This story doesn't end with aham mometns for anyone but us for a long time,and even then...
n the courts to come this would turn out to be a she said so you are guulty case.. A what she says is gospel case. But it really was not even a she said she said case... or thenthey said and you said... it was a she said and we said and then she said this and htat and this and that about the same scences that would convince anyone without a stake that she was lying. We are talking a fix is in job where soon
So now were' faced with this and three weeks to prepare for some hearing. The first thing we do is what you're supposed to... we call lawyers.
Lawyer number 1 wanted 5 k and that was too much. The second wanted 3K but we couldn't imagine spending a penny more on defending acgainst what seemed obvious lies. The third lawyer took us into his office, looked at the few paper field and her one page affidavit and said, " she says you pushed nine months before. and she didn't call the police then.. No judge would give her this. I could take your money but I'd be cheating. Ironically, this one sole honest lawyer inavertantly gave us the worst advice.
Common sense confirmed. the lawyers is right. no judge would grant this. Hoffman's insdird knowleged words, " She won't even show up in court." But just to be safe we'd look her up. Who is this person - insert... who is she....move section
Google search picked up ... not much. A myspace where she kept a blog and on the first hit there... she'd be in Denver on the day of the hearing. dates of all her gigs which begged the question whyh she cliamed to be her fear of her life and yet was and also begged the question how come nine months when she'd been in largo and closeby dozens of times. And then we saw it... How did Hoffman know and why would they go the distance for a person who told them she's not even showing up. but wallah, there's definitive proor. She'll in Denver. No way to be in L.A. These cops were acting real strange even so much( ) but judges to us were then some elite species that could see through bullshit. Judge Rosenberg would see what was going on here and remand the hideous false accusing attention hound to the kennel. Maybe even recommend that she be charged for perjury and lying to police.
But to be sure my sister filed a long "answer" with the court.
Early Morning. Santa Monica Courthouse.
And there she was. She'd shown up. She'd figured we'd look her up and see that she never intented to show and had booked a show in Denver.
She sat texting on her phone, remarkably calm for being two feet away from the perptrators. Around her looking nervous, but perverstly excited was the guy who threw my sister out of largo. Brian Whitaker presujment to be the doorman at the Improv. Stephanie Willen- ex friend and now fair to say mortal enemy and some guy we never met. No Nick Kroll. No Heidi Feigin. No Mark Flanagan. No cops of any kind.
We had no idea what these people would say cause they never filed any affidavits.
The lawyers listed as filing the papers was no where to be seen, but must be coming. We all walked in . Soon as we sat waiting, It became clear that no lawyer was coming to court for Notaro.
Let me give you a little legal info... If you have a lawyer and that lawyer's name is on your papers as filing them you cannot represent yoursef without filing a substitution of attorney and telling the court you plant to go Pro Per(or representing yourself) We did not know that then. Had we known we'd "put it on the record..." You can't do that it's not legal. We'd also talk about how the witnesses had to be separate and had to have filed affidavits and how a bailiff couldn't just remove me from the court, but we didn't know that. But knowing what we know now that wouldn't even have helped. but at least we'd give it a try.
Judge Gerald Rosenberg was on the bench , and he called her and all her witnesses up, at once. She went first and Tig began fucking up spectacularly. There was now a series of new versions for every paragraph/incidence she wrote in that affidavit, just three weeks before.
She was the worst pathological liar I'd ever seen. Middle School Dropouts should study the script before perjuring themselves, we thought. And then not just her but all were making the case for us... Everything they were saying went against what she'd sworn to in the afficdavit and now under oath in a court of law.
My sister who just had to listen to all these lies. And had to watch the Judge Call Notaro by her given name "Mathilde.." I actually go by my middle name Tig and ever since... So Judge Rosenberg did call her Tig and he didn't call my sister anything at all. As my sister went through her sure fire truths, she was made to look like the one with suspicious inconsistencies. At some point my sister talked about Sam and Juilius and Heid and all those she would have tracked but looik Judge it says here she''ll be in Denver and we were told by somje cop she wouldn't show up and I want a conitunaance.... Oddly the Judge said yes and then proceeded to act as if he never heard her request.
The fact that you are looking at her Myspace tells me what I need to know.. But I had .At this point as my sister was floundering sputtering and lookign back at us with our mouths open. the bailiff came up to me and very gently said, " You have to leave the court." I'm a witness. welll let you back ion... Oh Ok... But he never came to get me and so I had to see it from the little window on the court's door. Whatever I could see did not look good. Five minutes later tig strutted out with a strutted out. Not a figure of speech. she actually strutted. The wannabe comedians giddy with the possibilities that were not possible before. after they were gone my sister and motehr told me that he'd granted a three year order. CLETS...(
Afterward Willen would go on a trp to Aspen as told by Notaro on her Mysepace forf all to see. Evenb though they hadn' spoken inb yhears. whitaker would also take to his myspace page to report form the Improv his first non open mic show every.. Thanks for letting me open for you, Tig" From open mic to opening a show at the world famous Improv.
First thing home and I called Gregozek to tell him about my stunned state, and how Notaro did show up and she lied and lied and even now was saying that my sister had gone to Largo to stalk stephanie. He laughed as if amused by her antics, and said, " Well... she didn't tell us that." I'll send you the transcript and you will see." Gregozek's made a sigh of exasperation, " Listen everyone gets restraining orders. Let it go and again, just stay off the internet and your troubles are over."
was clear that this Tig person had some special power. Why the in person interviews and yet not shoing to court. Why the counseling that she won't show up and then to stay off the internet as if the legal troubled hinged on the internet? No mention of threats or illegal actions on our part... Illegal to mock Notaro on the internet?
Back home completely stunned but vowing to appeal. Was it the lawyers who never showed up. Was it her friendship with Sarah Silverman... We had to find out.
It's impossible to recall the exact details and timelines of our google searches but we found out a lot about Lavely and Singer. Shabby seeming with some sloppy forms and then not even showing up. Wellk I guess that's you get when you hiore a boutique agency.
Wow. Lavely and Singer... Lavely and Singer are not regular lawyers just like we found out that The TMU aren't regular detectives...
Lavely and Singer are high powered Entertianment lawyers who just not only happen to work with the TMU with major celebrity with major celebrity stalking victim clients but Lavely and Singer represented the head of the TMU in a major lawsuit.
You see a book was written about the TMU and other security firms and how members of this unit were being offerened lucrative security jobs straight out of public service or before. The former head of the Unit, Robert Martin, and a few of these firms (Gavin De Becker) were upset that a writer had publishe da book with Penguin where such aspersion s were being case. Who did Robert Martin hire to clean this up... Lavely and Singer..
Insert.
Let's get back quickly to their high paying and high profile clients. Bill Cosby, Sylvester Stallone, John Travolta, Charlie Sheen, Bryan Singer, Jennifer Aniston and many many more and Martin Singers most grateful client- Arnold Shwartzaneegger. And that would strike us as significant over the five years to come.
But the client that struck as the most relevant, at that exact time was ... Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer Aniston's restraining order was online. we'd found it looking up keyword Lavely and Singer restraining order... Gregozek had been out at Aniston's Manse . Jennifer Aniston had a restraining order with all the usual suspects attached to it. And as with Notaro Aniston had retained Lavely an Singer and was working with the TMU.
You'd expect a similar investigation and a similar effort to assure that the judge granted protective orders. We clicked it on and saw 96 pages and reprots and affidavits and diagram... The whole megillaso much seemed required to ruin someone's life. This is what we had. And then there was are's the whole thing right here... This is all that was filed with Judge Rosenberg's court. Which begged so many questions. Mainly, how is it that tig notaro is more powerful than jennifer Aniston.
So three years. Clets order. Restrained for not only Notaro but three men who never showed up in the affiadivati tand then in court and were never even mentioned... (later we'll get to how none of these men were even her roommates and how we found that out)
So now what remedies did we have. We now had not one statement under oath but two. and we now still had and a clearly unfair hearing...Googling. Only remedy to appeal.. One month window to file one peice of paper called, a "Notice of appeal."
Calls to laywers. 10 k for an appeal. By now we knew a whole slew of legalese. Bias, Pro Per, Motion to reconsider, redress for greivancesVoid Judgement, Ex parte, Due Process, and Ex Parte- Important. Remember Ex Parte we'd had one for the tempo order and we'd be uninvited to many expartes when all was said and done. legal definition
With all this knowldge we decided we weren't going to pay another cent for this twisted bitch. We would not let this demon rat deplete our funds. And she wouldn't ruin are names and she wouldn't keep my sister from doing what she'd come to L.A to pursue.
With notice of appeal taken of of it would be a long time till we could get any relief. It was clear that Notaro was defaming my sister and that many potential witnesses exited so rather than wait the year or so that an appeal could take the best way was a defamation suit... abuse of process. malicious proseuction. defamation. That suit was completed, filed and served to Notaro on August 13 2008.
But in between these legal "remedies" my sister was still not sure all was lost. The idea that her daughter had a resatraining order against her from a stranger was driving her crazy. My mother at the time- a 70 year old Hungarian. A holocaust survivoir screwed by a fellow Jew... This Rosenberg. And so she went out a lot of times since Notaro had her removed and often wondering if she'd someone been shmmozing with one of the mystery roomates that she was legally restrained from.
On Juley 14th 2008 Alisa goes to El Cid. A nightclub with a weekly comedy show she'd been going to regularly. Accordion to her nothing happened of note and I can verify that she never mentioned anythign of note happened.As was the case, with all the previous incident's this wouldn't turn out to be a she said she said. Again, we'd have a great wintess and conflicting statements that could leave no doubt she was lying and this time the timing of the service of the civil suit and the reporting of the "crime" was as suspicious as it gets. In short, the police reports would say that Tig Notaro had called on August 1 2008.... she descreibed it to them like this..
Insert police report and Martha and how whole tmu unit went to Redondo beach.
She was served with the defamation complaint on August 15th 2008. It was filed on August 13. And when did she get the letter than she was charged with a crime-
The letter was dated August 19th 2008
But on the very same July 14th, according to Tig and friends, my sister approached Martha Kelly with crime in mind. Intent on paassing illegal messages in anotehr crowded place. She either said " Tell her to stop this. It's killing my motehr" or " I will never let this go. I can't have firearms anymore." Then Notaro as usual changed it up again. This time in a letter from Lavely and Singer to a prosecutor Richard Ramirez...this was what went down: insert - i can't get a gun
And if that wasn't enough we have three supporting witnesses for Notaro...cliaming my sister was followering her old M.O to a T. A disturbing scene. Agreessivenes. Threatsa. Menace. Screaming while nameless others were terrified. Now, now lets whip out our last fortutious witness. Tobin Shea... manager of El Cid. His take as told to Investigator Neil Spector
I'm the manager of El Cid. If something like that happened in my club, I'd know about it. But for now let's go with the version that was made official... After my sister informs tig notaro's good friend, marhtha kelly about her intentions How long does Martha Kelly leave Tig Notaro out to dry.. Notaro is out performing everyh night and she's not being told that at any minute her stupid head can get blown off? How longs does Martha Kelly wait... 1 day! 2 days? Three days..? I can't keep this up... according even tot he police report she waited 18 days. but as ou'll see soon it was actually much longer. here it gets really interesting... have me write this up

If my mother was squicked out by the term restraining order, the word stalking on one of the police reports repelled her to pick up the phone... It was time the grownups
WE send Gregozek emails right away. Emails that showed that Willen was creating a false narrative of jealousy and confronation.
No response. We called Gregozek and he seemed annoyed.. " Everyone gets restraining orders... And she's not going to show up .. Just stay off the internet and you're troubles will be over

This is what I'm sure happened. As of May 2008, when Nick Kroll made some calls, neither Lavely and Signer or this TMU unit wanted to get involved with a clearly malicious and disturbed woman like Tig Notaro.
Flash forward to another fake accusation, that immediately followed, the filing of my sister's defamation suit. A letter in the mail... Alisa Spitzberg is charged with a crime. My mother, who had trusted police like crazy, called Gregozek...... " How could you do this. You know that girl is a liar."
And, what did Gregozek say in response? "What could I do. You sued her didn't you?"
Back to the TMU, and what they're supposed to do.
Members of this unit attend seminars, give speeches, and write books. They hold conventions at Disneyland. They even had a whole Primetime TV series devoted to their specialty. (Named, "Stalker." Thankfully. cancelled early on.)
The Detectives in this so called, "Elite Unit" go to fancy homes to meet with their famous "Vics" (Victims) and they live in much nicer homes, than the poor sods who taser South Centralites for a living. They even have their own acronym... The TMU.

And, on a sunny day in May of 2008, two members of the TMU, knocked on our door, and introduced themselves only as, "LAPD"
We'll get back to that Knock. The Knock that led to a Restraining order. The restraining order that led to the appeal of that order. Then when a defamation suit was filed by my sister...
that led Notaro to once again call on Nick Kroll, who again got Lavely and Singer, and then all those people pushed Gregozek to push for a criminal charges.
A one count misdemeanor that would be pursued as if it was a triple homicide (seven search warrants overall. Six of those " special circumstance" Warrants reserved for pedophiles, and terrorists.)
One charge didn't induce my sister to accept any plea bargain, and so they had to find away to get that plea(that would not only protect their interests but save them from exposure and civil rights suits).
Marty Singer's second hand woman, Allison Hart,ordered it, actually.
FYI: After securing illegal exigent circumstance warrants, no evidence of any of the allegations made by Lavely and Singer lawyer was found.
But that didn't stop John Gregozek from trying making Nick Kroll happy, as you will see.
Did they add charges based on those orders from a famed Entertainment firm? Or more exactly, did Kelly, "Dear Kelly" Boyer add the four charges that John Gregozek would claim she did?
The answer is that Kelly Boyer refused to add any charges, because she knew this was a vendetta, and that something was very wrong.
But, John Gregozek was so sure that she would that he wrote this out, and who knows who saw it, along the way.
Lavely and Singer's clients: Bill Cosby, John Travolta, Bryan Singer, Charlie Sheen, Sylvester Stallone, Scientology, Jennifer Aniston, and Tig Notaro?
The attempt to add those charges, led to a Stalinesque competency scheme - that got super sinister.
The competency plot part, led to an eighteen men raid - replete with battering ram, bullet proof vests and black cone shaped hats

The 18 man raid, led me and mother to be detained in a hall, as my sister was carted off to jail with no charges, and no legal basis for any raid, arrest or search. And, so we were sure she'd be let out the next day when our lawyer came to court.
Instead, she would be jailed for 31 days, with a bail set for serial killers - meaning no bail.
During her stay (AKA coercive confinement) in Lynwood Correctional Facility, all attempts were made to close the deal.

Patton:
Not a home for ex military heros, but a state hospital for the criminally insane.
For more than a month we faced the specter of Patton. We'd pictured Patton as place where my sister played cards with Andrea Yates, John Hinckley Junior, a couple of school shooters and a Cannibal.
And, my sister would be losing every game, because according the documents, she was ordered to be "forcibly medicated" until deemed competent to stand the trial.

The only bright spot when it came to Patton - she wouldn't be in the company of a Bundy, a Dahmer, A Gacy - who unlike my sister - might have been very mean, but they still had their marbles.

which forced them to return my sister to the criminal court. A new definition of luck....
Back to the Criminal court and lots and lots more led tos - that led to a 12 day kangaroo trial.
An actual Judge. An Actual Jury. 4 days of Voire Dire. J( more Latin learned.)
Inside and out of court, A literal phalanx of prosecutors on I phones, strategizing zealously to win -- the misdemeanor of the century.
My sister's public defender Alissa Malzman Sterling had said to my sister extreme dismay, "Martin Boags is trying to make his name on your case. But then so I am I. " Then she paused to add, " That is wrong. this is about you and how you are being maliciously prosecuted."
Then, a twelve day trial.A trial that started and stopped, and started and stopped, as they tried to add more charges, but were stopped by the trial judge, Randolph Moore.
A trial with a scene like this: another prosecutor, coming into court, to get the judge thrown off for saying stuff like " I don't think this is a criminal matter. This belongs in the Civil Courts. and him angrily telling Felise, "Backfat" Kalpakian to get the hell out.
This astute observation, that this was all retaliation for the defamation suit - led Judge Randolph Moore to take the very rare measure, of taking it upon himself to acquit two charges and to dismiss the last surviving charge - in the interests of justice.

And to me - having to write something that sounds this insane. But, since I am not insane, I know how insane it sounds.
Let's pause here. Doctors and judges and prosecutors said your sister is insane. Is she?
My answer: She's the sanest person, I've ever met.
No, it's too insane, you might still say. But, you are the sister? The two of you think this happened? I have never seen such an elaborate case of double delusion. Shouldn't somebody be studying these sisters brains?
The judge had dismissed the surviving charge, after Alissa Malzman Sterling had talked of her concern about all the power and money and effort involved. The judge then had expressed the same concerns before telling the prosecutor that he would not let this continue, under his watch, so they'd have to be insane too.
All that money. all that effort. All that power used against my little sister.
You must be wondering.... Who is this celebrity?

Ladies and gentlemen, it's.... Tig Notaro.
Huh. Who? Tig Notaro. Uh. Tig Notaro who?
Tig Notaro is who.
Tig Notaro AKA Mathilde Notaro. A stand up comedian. Maybe you've heard of her now, but nobody knew of her then. Including us.
Why might that name now sound familiar?
Cause she had cancer see. Went on a stage, see. Announced on a stage that the cancer was advanced, see. Noted (un-originally) that Time and Tragedy equals comedy, and she didn't have time, see.
Lots of press. Louis CK peddling an audio of the set. A massive(and highly suspicious) press push to make Miss Notaro... "Happen."
Considering the state of her health four years later, and then the state of her cancer stories, she had plenty of time and no tragedy.
Two years after the criminal trial, when we learned of her "cancer set", We saw her cancer as comeuppance, and looked forward to following her journey to decay and death. My sweet sister confided to me, she'd accept Notaro's deathbed apology. I told her I would not.
Alas, before we could pop one kernel of popcorn, we'd learn that she was beating Cancer with a whole new series of highly inconsistent statements.
Inconsistent cancer story statements: Things like telling certain press outlets she was on chemo. Then it was natural treatments all along. Then the I'm sick from radiation and can't do comedy story. A month later she was beating cancer with hormone blockers with five wildly varying start dates. one right after a mastectomy. one time it was a year after. then it was two years after when raw foods became
Then she forget all that and went back to how all along it's just been raw foods etc. She'd even told a Peter Holmes(on his podcast, "Make it Weird.) that she loved having cancer.
So, in short, Cancer was not ...Cancer, but the best thing ever.
But I digress, one true conspiracy at a time.
Let's segue back to the beginning -The nitty gritty behind the allegations that that led to all those led tos.
Chapter 2- Back to the Knock
There's nothing tentative about a cop's knock. No knuckle wraps. Just a closed fist punching sideways. Two very tall men in good suits, stood in the doorway. They introduced themselves as "L.A.P.D responding to a "crime report."
It's important to note that though seeing cops at your door is rarely an occasion to bring out the Champagne, we were happy to see them. Nearly Champagne happy.
We had tried to talk sense to this Tig. To give her a chance to explain herself, and ideally - to say sorry. How it must be one of the mistaken identity situations. We'd give her such an obviously false out. She'd tell my sister : Of course you never hit me. I had no right to have you kicked out of largo under such false and destructive pretenses. This wasn't a McDonald's. This was a comedy venue. What I did could effectively ruin any comedy career.
And, yet those efforts to get the deserved response, where met with hostility and abuse by her, and then a bunch of strangers.
Now here, in our house, where were two strapping officers of the LAPD.
Once they heard the story,they'd set things straight.
So my sister starts the story, and right away, Gregozek ( the guy acting bad cop,) starting shush shush shushing her.
" Shh Shh She. Let me talk."
"Ok"
" Have you been writing on the internet about her?"
"Yeah."
Gregozek gave her a, 'Aha you admitted it look.'
And she gave him a, 'Yeah I admitted it so what look'
"Why have you been writing about her on the internet?"
"Well she's been telling owners of clubs that I go to and need to go to, that I've been hitting her... that I hit her 9 months before and that now I came to a club to be "aggressive with her."And none of that happened. I came to L.A to do comedy. Those kinds of lies can ruin my life."
"Shhh"
"I don't even know her. After I realized that she really was intent on hurting me, I thought if I could just appeal to her humanity.Then my sister gave it a try. I wanted to gain insight into this strange person who for some reason thinks it's ok or fun to tell people I go around beating her up.Would you like if someone went around lying about you? Say you were applying to the police academy, and some recruit is telling the brass, and everyone, that you're a violent nut?"
No response, before Gregozek produced a ream of papers his bag. Is this the site you've been writing on? He wouldn't show what it was.
But since I only had written on one site, I assumed it was datalounge. ( A gossipy website populated by funny people and what appeared to be a fair share of Hollywood insiders.
It's tagline - wit, wisdom and random bitchery.
"If that's datalounge... Yeah."
He gave her another aha admission face- as if he was getting a full confession to a serious crime.
" well if you have it right there you know there are no threats. nothing remotely illegal. Read it... other people wrote so much stuff about her. Not just me."
Tig Notaro's life mission was to become a "public figure,"so to our delight some of the Datalounge members knew of her, and gave us some succor. Some knew her personally.A few said she was a creep. Two told us they'd known her, and they strongly suspected she was sociopath. One told us how she was known as a predator- whose preference was straight or straight seeming seeming blondes. Another poster told us that she surrounded herself with out of work comedians, who secretly hated her, but used her for her connections. One poster relayed that Tig Notaro had sent a bloody tampon to her mother on Mother's day.
" The tampon thing..... I don't know of it's true, but I wouldn't past someone whose capable of this."
"We'll look at it later. Second question: " Did you say Sarah Silverman Sucked."
"Did I say Sarah Silverman Sucked? No actually I didn't. I do think she sucks but I didn't say it. I might have said her show sucked..... Wait....why would that matter?
(Was there a new statute on the books that made it illegal to cast aspersions on Sarah Silverman and Tig Notaro?)
So far the crime report was dissing Silverman, and double dissing Notaro.
Which led my sister to get a gut feeling ( based on their questions and whole demeanor throughout) which led her forget the we ask the questions command.
" I don't think you are real police. Are you real police?"
They chuckled in unison, and then they set what we'd assume were transcripts of the message board aside, with a let's get this over with sigh.
What we weren't up to.
This is where it gets tricky. Because this whole thing is predicated on the fact that there is no smoke to this fire. Surely a puff? Maybe, a swirl? No. All of the smoke was make believe, on their parts.
So this is what we're going to do. First, I'm going to tell you what the cops told us Tig told them. A vague but disturbing account about what they'd been told, we'd been up to.
Then, I'm going to tell you a condensed version of all the different versions that Notaro and Willen would put in police reports, affidavits, to judges, to investigators, to prosecutors, and to a jury.
Then, I'm going to post a printout of the versions. There are even more. And I'd be happy to show those too.
And then, I'm going to tell you that witnesses with nothing to gain, and some with a lot to lose(we now know that once had a lot to lose, and that one might have lost so much it could blow any mind.)
Five witnesses who told law enforcement that it was all made up. Never happened. And they were ready to go on the stand, and get a lot of people - in a lot of trouble.
What the cops told us: "Incident," one.
Tsunami - August 29th 2007
9 months ago. Not 1,2,3,4 or five months ago - 9 months ago. Notaro and a Stephanie Willen were alleging that my sister pushed Notaro inside the coffee shop? 9 months ago? The gestation period. Long enough to go around the world.
The metamorphosing/ metastasizing story would survive for four years, if you include the civil suits to come.
Three versions had the push outside. One version it was inside. One version had a verbal tirade and "getting in Notaro's face," preceding the push. Five other versions where this was not mentioned. One version had vodka falling out of sister's jacket, even thought that day was very hot and no one would wear a jacket.
One version had the vodka falling out of purse. 6 versions Notaro never mentions vodka, falling or not. One version Sister calling Notaro a Crazy. Bitch. Dyke. Cunt before the push. 6 versions where that was never mentioned. version after version after version where the most basic details would change. One version had Willen heroically standing before Notaro to protect her. The next version had Notaro heroically shielding Willen.
Then more where sister was now chasing the ladies, as they fled to their car, and all the others version not mentioning this most memorable spectacle. One version they came in once car to coffee shop. one they came separately in two cars. Which if true would have complicated that chase. In one version my sister was chasing both them and then the car.
All those versions would be revealed over the two excruciating years, after the knock. Many came long after Notaro and Willen were caught in these lies.
If you were to believe Notaro and Willen's stories - That summer night in 2007, had been a night of savagery and sonnets. Brawls and booze amidst Haikus, in the aptly named... Tsunami Coffee House.

For this music, comedy, and poetry night follow these instructions: Walk through the door, sign up, wait nervously, get called onto the stage, do your thing, try not to feel awkward.
Be warned, crossing back through the stage to duck out early will get you a chorus of raised eyebrows and a few remarks like, 'Where are you going?'
So anyway, a place where things like violence and tirades would get noticed. For now (May 7th 2008. Cops on Couch,) when it came to Tsumani we only had Notaro and Willen's version as told to them.
Alisa pushed, "Tig" inside a coffee shop. And then the light bulb went on.This is not a dark alley accusation.
" Detectives, talk to the people there. There was plenty of them. And the workers. The cashier. The manager. Easy. Surely someone would have noticed something like that. I mean you're Detectives, after all."
But over the coming years we had to get witnesses and we got this from a manager who was there that night.
Now the cops had moved to 9 months later: April 7th 2008. Largo.
Gregozek: " Did you get it in her face and be aggressive and she had security throw you out"
My sister: " She had me thrown out for doing nothing. She told them I had to be removed cause 9 months before I'd pushed her. That's how this whole thing started. I went to a show to see the Walsh Brothers..."
"Shhhhh"
According to the 7 version that would follow, Alisa not only got in Tig's Face but
in five versions she didn't get into her face. In once version sister had used that "Cunt. Dyke. Bitch." line once more. In all the others she forgot to come up with that.
In the only consistent part of Notaro's versions when it came to this date, was that she was "confronted" by Alisa while Notaro conversed with her William Morris Agent, Heidi Feigin.
Once again, she puts all "this," in a packed club. What a weird M.O for a liar.
" Talk to the people there. She was talking to the woman there. The bartender. the audience. The people at the bar. The guy who took the entrance fee. If what Notaro says is true, surely someone noticed. I mean ... you're detective's after all."
We turned to each other and said, " Oh, she's gonna get arrested"
Third "incident"
This is where I come in. After she was thrown out of Largo on April 7th 08, I decided that as a big sister I'd clear this up. Surely this Tig person had nothing against me. I wasn't a comedian.
Cops: Did you knock on windows and doors and scream, " I'm going to get that fucking dyke." "Didn't the police have to come/"
In the next two years. one version had us sisters knocking on the door for 1 and and a half hours. One version of Notaro's had the packed club on three hours of lockdown. One version had us sisters running around blocks screaming "we are going to get the fucking dyke." One version and us sisters were trying to break into club but since we couldn't you know... break in... we knocked for more than one and a half hourse
There was only one consistent part in these version: In all versions cops are called and come to scene but alas us sisters have fled.
Considering those allegations of mayhem, that would first be made by Notaro, and then be made by the owner and then the manager, of course police would have to come... three hours of lockdown.
" Detectives, O... M.. G this is getting ridiculous. She has a mental defect. She keeps making stuff up when there's tons of witnesses There was a bouncer at the bar next door. Good looking black guy. Muscular. He was there the whole time were were there. Maybe 20 minutes. He was offended by how they treated us. He talked to us. Invited us in Dime Bar for a drink. He'd be so easy to track down. Wait.. all those people on lockdown. The police. We didn't see them. But they'd be great witnesses to. they must have interviewed people. The people inside. locked down for three hours. Surely, they'd remember two violent lady homophobes keeping them trapped for hours. This is a time of cell phones... hundreds of 911 calls."
Remember those police who were called, came, and according to Notaro's lawyer Allison Sievers saw the sister's though Notaro insisted the sister had left before the the cops arrived?
Did anyone ever get the 911 printouts? Names of the Officers. Badge Numbers? Police reports? Incidence Reports?( To win another defamation suit( I filed) and then to convince an appeals court that Notaro deserved her restraining orders, her lawyer, Allison Sievers had now said that not only had police come but this time, we were there to see them. In the defamation case, the judge cited the poilce's arrival as the reason she would grant Lavely and Singer's "Slapp Motion.")
It's a long strange tale how those documents were finally ordered, but we can't afford for this to be a mystery, so here is what happened when a Martin Boags ordered the records, a year and six months after the alleged incident took place.

Gregozek: "You went to the Improv. You pushed people on line. Tried to stop them from seeing her show."
Us: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat."
Them shaking their heads: cops were called.
Over the next two years, one of Notaro's versions, would have her being assisted by a cop on the street before two other cops arrived. This phantom cop who she'd never mentioned to the real police who did come when she got a manager to call, had not taken care of us but rather snuck her in the Improv's side door.. a side door ( and a cop that did not exist BTW.) In one version she stood with "my friend Nick Kroll" and saw me approach the improv without my sister, then I tried to muscle my way into the door. In one version she watched in fear from a window. In one, she didn't but rather performed her comedy routine as this occurred outside. In one version lots of people in line were pushed. In all the otheres she forgot about that. Once time she was given warning of the mayhem by a Leslie Wolff. Once it was a "friend". Once it was a promoter. Once it was a "manager."
After Gregozek and Hoffman finished retelling us, what she'd told them, we almost felt sorry for her. It's a crime to lie to the police, isn't it? Why would she ruin her career... her life... over this bizarre vendetta.
Wow. she really is pathological about this lying... but not diabolical. Again, no dark alley. Again, a scene. a crowded club. And again, we had so many witnesses. Some particular and some just expected... patrons, the bartender... people on the street where mayhem and hate crimes and police cars speeding to the scene...
Detectives, we have the best witnesses evah! Two cops. Two female cops. One blonde. One brunette. They talked to us. Then they went and talked to her and who knows who else inside. They came out and said, verbatim... " Ladies no crime has been committed here." After the brunette whispered something in the blonde's ear, the blonde said, " If I were you, I'd get myself a lawyer."
No idea what she meant. Call them on the phone right now. They're one of you.
So, if you don't mind, please take this quiz:
In the following years, most of the witnesses would get a name. Did Gregozek, Hoffman, Defoe, Dunn et al,
A. Talk to witnesses and get statements
B. Eat Donuts
C. Do everything in their power, along with Lavely and Singer, to hide the cops witness and refuse to interview anyone but Notaro and Willen.
Answer C. Maybe also B and C.
nd then they made the motions of being done. headed towards the door, and we were sure - this is over... even better... they'd investigate and haul her to jail, for wasting their time, , with what....with some vendetta and now getting cops to trying to stop ... dissing her and Sarah Silverman online and off?
They'd be compelled to tell these comedy club owners about this creep- the kind of creep that likes to slander strangers. The kind of creep that gets off on ruin someone's reputation so she can play false victim., The kind of creep that will use public resources to get revenge..... Revenge for what? This all started with no bad behavior on our parts.
Just as we considered the comeuppance she could face, Gregozek pulled a sheaf of papers with the heft of a Chinese Menu out of of his bag. handed it to my sister...
but this wasn't your regular process server type of service... Gregozek counseled us, " Just stay off the internet and I'm sure she won't even show up for this."
We flashed back to that blonde female cop , " If I were you I'd get a lawyer," and as increasily fishy as these guys seemed, , we still trusted them som, so I asked, " Do we need a lawyer"
,good cop piped in... " Nah... I've worked these cases and I can tell you she won't even show up. "

" Sure.here's my card.
After they'd left we looked at the half filled in forms and the one page email that was labeled - Afidavit. We didn't get then that a temporty order was granted and that it was a rare one...
Amd we didn't figure out then that May 1st 2008 was a Sunday - meaning the judge had to be contacted by either Lavely and Singer and Gregozek, by phone.
One where the danger was so strong that due process had to be discarded.. No notice. No hearing. GRanted by some judge on a weekend. With only this as a stated reason: insert documents
We were so dumb back then we didn't even know that a lawyer had to give her name or a pro per plaintiff had to give their name to get such a serious order or any orde.r
The paperwork. The Affidavit. The forms. The temp order
Now we had real names of who she considered witnesses:Heidi Feigin. Nick Kroll. Leslie Wolff. and a lot of nameless cops and managers and doormen and .
The hearing was set for May 28th 2008- 21 days away. more than enough time for any investigation by these cops and we'd call lawyers, just to be sure, cause even thought they said she wouldn't show up... why would they say that....
Worse came to worse we'd track down the as of now nameless people with faces, we knew could back up our denials.
.. We looked through the papers. forms where Notaro was claiming she was stalked and a victim of violence to get away without filing any filing fee. oh that won't last, crazy lady... whatever those cops told us you told them... well you changed your story. and even if the story sounded the same... it made no sense.. the same 9 month sabbatical from stalking only to emerge sitting at a bar.
The cops hadn't mentioned the names of any witnesses. we knew we had them bu tthey had them how was that possible when none of this happened? Three names of guys we never heard of .... Three roommates who also were now safe from sister and her .... staling of unknown strangers?
Notaro was nutso... now whatever those cops were telling us was now in fine print.
under oath... penalty of perjury.
Now for the first time, we had names. The names listed were assumed to be what... witnesses... witnesses to what...? We knew we hadn't done anything that was in Notaro's forms and affidavit and we knew that we hadn't done anything the cops were telling us we must have done.
The names listed mentioned were Nick Kroll, Heidi Feigin, Brian Whitaker. Lesley Wolf... And here my idealistic sister got excited.. no way all those names would lie. And if they confirmed any part of Notaro affidavit... they would be lying, cuase none of what she described ever took place..
others things of note... three roommates listed, and as of the ex part temp order, I'd been restrained, from law from these three guys I'd never met. They had a right, or any reason, to have my sister legally restrained from not Notaro, but the three guys she now claimed were her roomates.. how did that make any sense..
on op of the forms in handwriting. Lavely and Singer Allion Hart laywer bu no address. no bar number.
Googled Lavely and Singer, "Boutique Agency" Something to do with entertainment law. We'd jumped to the conclusion that "Boutique was a fancy way to say a small law firm. And according to Notaro, in her affidavit, this firm was busy behind the scenes - sending the website ,where we'd gotten the dirt on Notaro, a stream of cease and desist letters.
Which explained how amazed we, and the other members of datalounge were when any thread mentioning Noaro was deleted. Every major celebrity was discussed and the threads stayed up, and this woman, who most had never heard of, was getting any thread mentioning her - shut down.
So now were' faced with this and three weeks to prepare for some hearing. The first thing we do is what you're supposed to... we call lawyers.
Lawyer number 1 wanted 5 k and that was too much. The second wanted 3K but we couldn't imagine spending a penny more on defending acgainst what seemed obvious lies. The third lawyer took us into his office, looked at the few paper field and her one page affidavit and said, " she says you pushed nine months before. and she didn't call the police then.. No judge would give her this. I could take your money but I'd be cheating. Ironically, this one sole honest lawyer inavertantly gave us the worst advice.
Common sense confirmed. the lawyers is right. no judge would grant this. Hoffman's insdird knowleged words, " She won't even show up in court." But just to be safe we'd look her up. Who is this person - insert... who is she....move section
Google search picked up ... not much. A myspace where she kept a blog and on the first hit there... she'd be in Denver on the day of the hearing. dates of all her gigs which begged the question whyh she cliamed to be her fear of her life and yet was and also begged the question how come nine months when she'd been in largo and closeby dozens of times. And then we saw it... How did Hoffman know and why would they go the distance for a person who told them she's not even showing up. but wallah, there's definitive proor. She'll in Denver. No way to be in L.A. These cops were acting real strange even so much( ) but judges to us were then some elite species that could see through bullshit. Judge Rosenberg would see what was going on here and remand the hideous false accusing attention hound to the kennel. Maybe even recommend that she be charged for perjury and lying to police.
But to be sure my sister filed a long "answer" with the court.

And there she was. She'd shown up. The MySpace Denver thing was a ruse. She'd rightly figured we'd look her up and see that she never intended to show and had booked a show in Denver.
She sat texting on her phone, remarkably calm for being two feet away from the perpetrators. Around her looking nervous, but perversely excited was the guy who threw my sister out of largo. Brian Whitaker presujment to be the doorman at the Improv. Stephanie Willen- ex friend and now fair to say mortal enemy and some guy we never met. No Nick Kroll. No Heidi Feigin. No Mark Flanagan. No cops of any kind.
We had no idea what these people would say cause they never filed any affidavits.
The lawyers listed as filing the papers was no where to be seen, but must be coming. We all walked in . Soon as we sat waiting, It became clear that no lawyer was coming to court for Notaro.
Let me give you a little legal info... If you have a lawyer and that lawyer's name is on yoru papers as filing them you cannot represpsent yoursef without filing a substituon of attorney and telling the court you plant to go Pro Per(or representing yourself) We did not know that then. Had we known we'd "put it on the record..." You can't do that it's not legal. We'd also talk about how the witnesses had to be separate and had to have filed affidavits and how a bailiff couldn't just remove me from the court, but we didn't know that. But knowing what we know now that wouldn't even have helped. but at least we'd give it a try.
Judge Gerald Rosenberg was on the bench , and he called her and all her witnesses up, at once. She went first and Tig began fucking up spectacularly. There was now a series of new versions for every paragraph/incidence she wrote in that affidavit, just three weeks before.
She was the worst pathological liar I'd ever seen. Middle School Dropouts should study the script before perjuring themselves, we thought. And then not just her but all were making the case for us... Everything they were saying went against what she'd sworn to in the afficdavit and now under oath in a court of law.
My sister who just had to listen to all these lies. And had to watch the Judge Call Notaro by her given name "Mathilde.." I actually go by my middle name Tig and ever since... So Judge Rosenberg did call her Tig and he didn't call my sister anything at all. As my sister went through her sure fire truths, she was made to look like the one with suspicious inconsistencies. At some point my sister talked about Sam and Juilius and Heid and all those she would have tracked but looik Judge it says here she''ll be in Denver and we were told by somje cop she wouldn't show up and I want a conitunaance.... Oddly the Judge said yes and then proceeded to act as if he never heard her request.
The fact that you are looking at her Myspace tells me what I need to know.. But I had .At this point as my sister was floundering sputtering and lookign back at us with our mouths open. the bailiff came up to me and very gently said, " You have to leave the court." I'm a witness. welll let you back ion... Oh Ok... But he never came to get me and so I had to see it from the little window on the court's door. Whatever I could see did not look good. Five minutes later tig strutted out with a strutted out. Not a figure of speech. she actually strutted. First thing home and I called Gregozek to tell him about my stunned state, and how Notaro did show up and she lied and lied and even now was saying that my sister had gone to Largo to stalk stephanie. He laughed as if amused by her antics, and said, " Well... she didn't tell us that." I'll send you the transcript and you will see." Gregozek's made a sigh of exasperation, " Listen everyone gets restraining orders. Let it go and again, just stay off the internet and your troubles are over."

Why the counseling that she won't show up and then to stay off the internet as if the legal troubled hinged on the internet? No mention of threats or illegal actions on our part... Back home completely stunned but vowing to appeal. Was it the lawyers who never showed up. Was it her friendship with Sarah Silverman... We had to find out.
It's impossible to recall the exact details and timelines of our google searches but we found out a lot about Lavely and Singer. Shabby seeming with some sloppy forms and then not even showing up. Wellk I guess that's you get when you hiore a boutique agency.

In September 2007 - Spitzberg arrived at the coffee shop and confronted Willen and Notaro. Willen ignored Spitzberg and walked out of the shop with Notaro. Spitzberg stepped in front of Willen and said, “You trying to avoid me.” Willen ignored Spitzberg who then pushed Notaro.

Notaro waited with Willen at approximately 2000 hours, Spitzberg arrived at sat down next to Willen and Notaro.. Spitzberg appeared intoxicated and began interrupting and insulting Notaro and Willen. On April 7, 2008 Notaro was performing at Largo. At approximately 2130 hours Notaro was talking to her agent when Spitzerg stepped in front of her and stated, “ You remember me?” Notaro told Spitzberg that she did not want to talk to her. Spitzberg

Notaro said the next occasion, in which she had any type of contact with Alisa had occurred on 4/7/08. On that particular evening Notaro said she was performing at a club called Largo, and her show that night was called “Tig and friends.”
Sometimes during that evening Notaro said she had seen Alisa sitting inside of this club and near the bar area. Notaro advised that her brand new agent Heidi was also in attendance to see her perform her comedy show. After her show was over Notaro said she was in the audience and she was speaking to her agent.
All of a sudden, Notaro stated that Alisa then walked up to the two of them and said, “ Do you know who I am?” Do you remember me? Notaro replied back to her and said, “I know who you are . You shoved me.” After this brief encounter, Notaro said she walked to an employee who works at Largo, named Micheal, and he had asked Alisa to leave the location at her request. Alisa then left the location.

Before her show even began notoro advised that Notaro walked up to the table where she was sitting at and she seemed upset at the time .She said she asked to notoro what was wrong and notoro told her something to the effect of “ this woman who has caused her a lot of problems is here.” Heidi stated that Notaro continued to tell her that she meaning Notaro had even needed to get a “restraining order” against this same female subject. As Notoro continued to speak with her, Heidi said this unknown female subject in question all of a sudden walked by the table where they had been talking at, and this unknown female subject said “hi” to someone and this unknown female subject continued on her way.
Heidi stated that Notaro told her, “that is the ex-girlfriend of my girlfriend and she’s causing a lof of problems for us.” She said Notoro had also said something to her about this female subject was also “stalking” her. Feigin stated that after this female subject walked by them, she sat at the bar area by herself. Heidi stated that Notaro then left her table, and she performed a short time later.
When asked if this female subject caused any trouble at the show at Largo at this night in question, Feigin said no. Feigin Advised that this unknown subject just appeared to be a “normal fan.” And she had caused no problems on that particular evening. She stated she had just sat at the back of this club and next to the bar while watching the show. When asked if she had seen this unknown female subject ever make contact with Notaro on that night in question, Feigin said no. When asked if she knew the unknown subject’s name, Feigin once again stated no.

The next night I performed at Largo was April 12th , 2008., I was standing outside the club with the owner Mark Flanagan. I noticed Alisa and her sister, Lauren Spitzberg, about fifteen feet away from my right. They ran towards me and lunged at me, and I ran inside before they could make physical contact. They were not allowed entrance into the club, and Mark Flanagan called the police.
Alisa and Lauren went around to the back door, and for an hour and a half proceeded to verbally abuse Mark Flanagan and Michael Griffee, scream at the top of their lungs, and bang on the door.
They ran back and forth from the front to back entrance yelling, “were going to get that dyke.” They left close to 11 p.m before the police could come.

Notaro said a few nights later, Alisa once again showed up at Largo. This time she brought her sister along with her. When Alisa first showed up on this second night Notaro stated that she had been outside and talking with its owner Mark Flanagan Notaro said that Flanagan told her to immediately get inside the club and he would take care of Alisa and her sister. Notaro also advised that the police also showed up that evening at Largo but she believed that Alisa and her Sister had already left Largo. Prior to the police arriving there. She said that she carried on with her performance that evening but she advised that she was in a “paranoid state” throughout the evening..

I am the door guy at the dime which is no more than 16 feet away from where largo once was. I remember the day in question and remember nothing happen(ing) I even

Notaro went back inside the club and watched from a window. Spitzberg, her sister, and mother were all outside the club yelling about Spitzberg being removed from the club. Spitzberg stated that R better watch her back and that she knew where she lived what car she drove. Patrol officers were called and arrived at the scene

Affidavit of Notaro- April 29th 2008
On the night of Tuesday 29th 2008 I performed at the Improv in Hollywood.CA. As I was driving to the club, Lesley Wolff, the promoter for the show called me to inform me that Alisa had been inside the club and had been removed. As I pulled up at 8.PM, I saw Alisa Outside talking to People. I noticed a sherriff the street, unrelated to the situation, and asked him to see what was going on., to distract alisa, so I could go through the side door.
Brian, the door security informed me that Alisa had announced to him my license plate number and color/make of car, and warned that she knew where I lived.
At 9:30 p.m I was informed that Alisa had left, and then I attempted to leave the club. Just as I took a step out of the door I saw Lauren Walking towards the venue.. Feeling unsafe I went back inside. I was informed that Alisa, Lauren, and their mother were now all in the front of the club. I was stuck inside the club for two more hours as the three of them verbally attacked performers, patrons, and security. The police were called and made note of the incident but because my life had not been directly threatened they were unable to take action. Eventually, the three women left and I was able to go home

SO WHEN I WAS ARRIVING TO THE CLUB, THEY CALLED ME TO TELL ME -- THE CLUB CALLED TO TELL ME THAT ALISA WAS THERE AND SHE HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE CLUB SO I SHOWED UP AT THE SHOW; ALISA, HER SISTER, AND THEN HER MOTHER, ALSO SHOWED UP WHILE I WAS PERFORMING AND SPENT TWO HOURS CASING THE PLACE AND MAKING THREATS AND HARRASSING
THE COURT: WHO DID THEY MAKE THREATS TO?
MS. NOTARO: PEOPLE WAITING TO GO TO THE SHOW.

She'd make more statements to prosecutors and then for a civil court, but this was already an embarrassment of riches.All these statements will be put on a seperate blog post to leave no doubt that these statements were made.
